Golfing Tips

Putting Tips

Purchase a putter that looks and feels good to you.

Take a short swing for short putts and a little longer for long putts.

A putting grip that is too loose creates inconsistency.

Avoid a grip that is too tight for it may create tension.

Set yourself in a position that is comfortable for you not too straight or hunched over.

Do not allow the eyes to wander and your body must remain still.

Miscellaneous Tips

Trust your swing.

If something interrupts your pre-shot routine start all over.

Do not dip the left knee during the back swing or over pivot this causes an over swing.

Dubbing the ball is a result in hesitation. The tempo is spoiled.  After the club has struck the ball keep going through the ball.  Accelerate through the shot.

Be positive. Do not be afraid as fear effects the muscular reactions and prohibits a fee swing.

Use common sense by the allowing the clubs to do the work.

When tension begins to creep in take some deep breaths to relax yourself.
